Geography - Golf Club Trieste

The golf club Trieste was the first golf built in Friuli Venezia Giulia. It was first built in 1954, the course was designed by the Americans and the English after the Second World War. In 2005 the golf club celebrated it's 50th anniversary, a long tradition that wasn't only a strong point but was also a stimulation to make the city better, giving people the possibility to play also here. The club house, which was redesined at the end of the seventy's with clear Tudor style, also has changing rooms both for members and for guests, a secretary, a t.v. room, couches and a bar- restaurant of very high level and low cost. Also for the golfers there is a driving range which has ten covered spaces to practice, a pitching green and a putting green. The golf course is for players of all levels. The wonderful location Trieste has enables the player's to see the sea and the Carso, a wonderful habitat to relax and joyfully play breathing fresh air! An advantage in the golf club Trieste is that there is always a bit of wind so also in the hottest day it's cool enough to play!
