Historical Entry- The molo audace!

The wharf Audace is a very significative place for Trieste. The wharf Audace takes it's name from the name of the leader of the first that approached in Trieste in November the third 1918. It is in front of Piazza Unità. Piazza Unità was once the center of Trieste because in 1918 it was the easiest place to reach for every merchant. Still today Piazza Unità is the center of the city and so the wharf is still very important. Every young person that comes in Trieste hos to know that the wharf Audace has a hidden leggend. Here we say that all the lovers that go on the wharf Audace will have good luck in their future story if they are really in love with each over and they will have a lot of good luck. People go there to admire the sea and look at the rosa dei quattroventi, which tells you from which directions the winds come from and what are their names. If you take some time and remain there for a while you can see many painters or photographers, because on the wharf Audace there is an extraordinary view, especially in the evening when the sun is disappearing. The sean gently crushes on the borders of the wharf creating a peaceful sound and a small but restless sea breeze, cuddles you making the wharf and extremely romantic wharf for lovers and intraprendent artists.
